Reading books on a regular basis is considered not only as a good habit, but it also imparts great knowledge and wisdom to all. However, many of us have the hobby of book collection. Collectible books may include horror books, comic book collectibles, rare collectibles books, children’s collectible books, award winning books and many more. While some of us are inclined towards a particular genre of books, while others have a likeness for other type. Thus, there are varieties of options available and all of them may serve for an excellent collection of books.

Popular fictional works by authors like Daniel Defoe, D.H. Lawrence, Thomas Hardy, the Bronte sisters are those literary works that every book lovers will love to possess. Famous works like “Mrs. Dalloway,” “The Bluest Eye,” “Gulliver’s Travels,” etc. serves as excellent collectible books. Famous book stores like “The Oxford Book Store” have a plethora of collections by numerous famous authors. Among some of the prized books, the non-fictional works of authors like John Gray’s “Men are from Mars,” “Women are from Venus” or “How to Stop Worrying and Start Living” by some other author tops the list.

Among the vast collections of books, comic books collectibles are quite popular among teenagers. Whether you are a lover of comic character, such as Archies or Tintin, or love to collect superheroes, like Robin Hood, Superman or Batman series books, all types of story books also come under collectible books world.

Children can also make a superb collection of several riddle books, like “Snow white,” “Cinderella,” “Alice in Wonderland” and other fairy tale books. Science fiction collectible books also have a huge rage among children. On the other side, adults can have a stack of award-winners novels or books as collectible items. Jhumpa Lahiri’s “The Namesake,” Salman Rushdie’s “Midnight’s Children,” Arundhati Roy’s “God of Small Things” and many more are some of the perfect examples of collectible books.

Besides all these renowned reading materials, one section of books also has massive fans, i.e. old and antique collectible books. Though it is difficult to find some rare works of writing but the section can add an impressive feature to your library or stock of collectible books. You can buy such collection of books in auction functions of art and historical museums, as well as from renowned and old libraries.
